On the morning of Friday, 12th June 2009, a group of students and teachers from Wexham Primary School carried out a Big Tidy-Up to enhance their local environment.  Armed with litter-pickers, green refuse bags and hi-vis tops the children made their way to The Cherries recreation area, also litter-picking the nearby areas en route.

Wexham Court Parish Council supported the event by providing a refreshments table near the play area which was organised by the Clerk, assisted by Councillors Evelyn Aldridge & David MacIsaac.

Once the tidy-up was finished the children were able to spend some time on the play equipment before returning to school.

We applaud Wexham Primary School and the students involved for their contribution to the wellbeing and cleanliness of our estate.
