FINE SPRING WEATHER BRINGS GOOD ATTENDANCE TO PARISH HALL FUN DAY

Wexham Court Parish Council, in association with Slough Borough Council, held a Fun Day at the Parish Hall on the 12th May 2012.  The purpose of the event was to find out what play facilities residents would like in Wexham, and to identify the type of equipment that our young residents would prefer if the project were to go ahead.

A bouncy castle and various play apparatus was provided by both Councils for the afternoon and a consultation stand was set up to gather ideas and suggestions.

Free refreshments were kindly provided by Tesco, and a burger van was in attendance for hot food.  The local Policing Team also attended, along with several Parish/Borough Councillors and SBC representatives.  Fortunately the weather was kind to us, thus allowing all concerned to have a pleasant day.

We would like to thank everyone who supported the event, and particularly Parish Councillor Vinay Vyas who did most of the preparatory work to make it happen.
