WEXHAM COURT PARISH COUNCIL

 

MINUTES of the MEETING of the COUNCIL held on Tuesday, the

10TH FEB 2015, at the Parish Hall, Norway Drive, Wexham, Slough.

Councillors Sandra Malik (Chairman),

Trevor Allen, Patrick Donachy, Harjinder Singh Gahir,

Shabana Zeib. Paul Sohal, Raja Fayyaz, Muanawar Hussain

143. APPROVAL OF APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

 

RESOLVED: None received.

 

144. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

 

Councillors Malik and Sohal declared an interest in relation to their role as Borough

Councillors.

 

145. CONSIDERATION OF DISPENSATION APPLICATIONS RELATING TO

THE CODE OF CONDUCT

 

No applications were submitted.

 

146. MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING HELD ON 4TH November 2014

 

RESOLVED: That the Minutes of the Meeting held on 4th November 2014 be approved as a correct record.

 

147. MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING HELD ON 12TH January 2015

 

RESOLVED: That the Minutes of the Meeting held on 12th January 2015 be approved

as a correct record.

 

148. POLICE AND COMMUNITY WARDEN LIAISON

 

The Police and Community Warden were given the opportunity to address the Council and provide information reports.

 

149. PUBLIC QUESTION TIME

 

No questions raised.

 

150. INFORMATION REPORTS - MEMBERS & BOROUGH COUNCILLORS

 

The Members and Ward Councillors present were given the opportunity to provide

information reports.

 

RESOLVED: Walkabout on the Wexham Court Estate 21st February 2015 at 2pm

 

151. FINANCIAL REPORT

 

Deferred to March 2015 meeting as reports had not been distributed to council, a

process normally carried out by the clerk to the council.

 

(Note: The duties of the Clerk should be carried out by the Assistant Clerk/RFO in the Clerk’s absence,

in accordance with the Job Descriptions.)

 

Proposal for the RFO to use internet banking.

 

RESOVLED: Due to the inherent risks involved of instant access to public funds

council will not permit the use of internet banking at this time. This may be reviewed

again in the future.

 

152. PROPOSAL FOR THE £100K LOAN REQUEST (PREVIOUSLY

APPROVED) TO BE MADE TO THE PUBLIC WORKS LOAN BOARD

 

Councilor Sohal proposed to defer the loan application and take up the offer of SBC

early precept payment, seconded by Council Zeib.

 

RESOLVED: By 5 votes for, 3 against, 1 abstained, majority vote to defer the

application.
