Oak House Care Home organised a 2nd Anniversary Celebration Party on the 15th April 2011. Various people were invited to attend the event including the Parish Clerk, Dianne Egan, who took along her mother, Shirley, as a guest. They were also joined by Councillor Tony Haines who is a Parish/Borough Councillor and works with Age Concern.
It was a lovely Spring day which provided an opportunity for the guests and residents of the care home to appreciate the pleasant outdoor atmosphere and enjoy the excellent musical entertainment and buffet/barbeque.
On behalf of all present, the Clerk would like to express her sincere thanks to the Oak House staff who worked so hard to make the event such a success. Many thanks also to Lynne Cresdee and her husband, Dave, for their cheerful hospitality. Lynne is our Parish Hall Bookings Officer, who also works at the care home, and Dave kindly volunteers his help at such events (they are pictured below tending the BBQ, along with photos of Dianne, Shirley & Tony).
Well done everyone!
