Wexham School Annual Awards

in association with

In 2006 the Parish Council purchased trophies for each of the two schools within Wexham Court boundary (Wexham School Specialist Sports College, and Wexham Court Primary School) and an outstanding student from each one is nominated annually to receive the award and a gift.  The initiative was introduced in order to build upon the good relationships that we enjoy with our local schools, and to encourage the young people who attend them.

The first award at Wexham School in 2007 was presented by the Chairman to Denise Jack, but unfortunately no photos of the event were obtained.  Due to difficulties in arranging a mutually convenient date around school term times and the Chairman's shift patterns, the second presentation for Wexham School was delayed until January 2009.

This year's recipient was Samantha (Sam) Croft, who is pictured here receiving the trophy together with a 25 gift voucher from Councillor David MacIsaac.  The second photo below also includes the school Head, Jeff Richardson, who is rightly proud of his school and the achievements of such exemplary students.

High standards of work and excellent personal attitude are what primarily make these students deserving of the award, and we would like to convey our sincere thanks and congratulations to them for setting such a fine example to other young people in our community.

This page will be updated as further annual awards are presented.
